Setting Tool for Drop-In Anchor is a hardened steel installation tool designed to expand drop-in anchors by hammering. It ensures proper and consistent expansion for maximum load performance in concrete.
Structure
The overall structure is a heat-treated high-strength steel.
One end is the socket head: it fits over the top of the anchor bolt.
The other end is the striking end: it is used for applying force by hammering.Working Method
Insert the anchor bolt into the pre-drilled concrete hole.
Put the Setting Tool over the anchor bolt.
Use a hammer to strike the tail of the tool.
When you hear a clear and resonant sound / the tool no longer sinks, it indicates that the expansion is complete.
